Home Line Security Defense Against Burglaries

There are three degrees of security for every Home Alarm System. The first is the visual "front line of defense," then the actual system itself, and finally the Police response. These defenses work together to provide a safe and secure home for families. Understanding these levels will lead to success at your house.

The first line of defense is visual, your yard signs and window decals. They give a visual defense to let the "would be burglar" know that there is a security system on board and it's being monitored. The yard sign should be placed in the front of the home, with window decals on east, west, and south sides. They should be free from obstruction, for example, trees, scrubs, and flowers. This is your first line of defense, and if a burglar ignores this warning it can lead to and unpleasant ending.
